When people think about Chester Eastside, they may often think about our programs, events, and services. But at the heart of everything we do are the people.

This photo captures a small glimpse of the heart behind Chester Eastside. The genuine smiles of our volunteers, staff, and supporters are a reflection of the dedication and community that make CEI so special.

Moments like these remind us that meaningful change happens when people come together with a shared purpose.

As we prepare for another busy summer, we’re grateful for the volunteers, community partners, and dedicated staff who continue to show up and make a difference. Thank you for being part of our story.

Support Our Annual Summer Camp

Each year we send out an appeal seeking contributions for our summer camp. The total budget for the camp is over $40,000 and we depend upon the generosity of our supporters to help make it happen. Here is the information that went out with the appeal:

In any way it comes, we are grateful for your support of our efforts to provide a positive, educational, and safe experience this summer for the families and children we serve.

Put Your Mark on Clifford, the CEI Van!

Clifford the van is getting a fresh new look with our logo and we need your help choosing the perfect slogan to go with it! Get creative and help us share Chester Eastside’s message throughout the community!

Van slogan contest rules:

• Submit a short, original slogan or tagline that reflects Chester Eastside’s mission.
• Entries must be submitted by June 18th.
• Send your idea to info@ceichester.org.
• The winning slogan will be featured on our van and in future marketing materials.

Tansition Time!!

The leadership of St. Paul’s Church recently granted us permission to use another classroom and office on the first floor of the building. This will enable us to house both the summer camp and after-school program in that space!

In order to do so, we need to move all the supplies and equipment from the ground level to the first floor….can you see it coming???

Next Tuesday, June 9, beginning at 1:00pm, we will take up this task. If you’re in need of a little extra physical exercise, you are more than welcome to come and help! As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to 610-872-4812.
