What Does Compassion Look Like?

Several bags of food from the DELCO Food drive

THIS IS WHAT COMPASSION LOOKS LIKE!

Last Saturday, we received a truckload of food donations from residents of DELCO. Sponsored by the DELCO County Council, hundreds of people delivered food that was transferred immediately to waiting trucks from local food pantries.

Many have asked about the impact of policy descions on the people we serve…from September 2024 to September 2025 we saw:

a 33% increase in the number of meals served;

a 135% increase in the number of hot meals served;
a 45% increase in the number of families served;
a 44% increase in the number of seniors served;

and a 143% increase in the number of new individuals coming to the food pantry from July-September
