Rising like the Sun over the East side of Chester for 40 years.

Yesterday, in spite of the weather, we pulled off the 2025 version of the annual Harvest Festival. We had a large crowd who came to eat, laugh, sing, dance, and play. We provided space for several local service providers. We gave away hundreds of pounds of produce from the Community Garden. We held a raffle and offered breast cancer screenings. And our young people created a scarecrow and had their faces painted.

Our Special Annual Appeal

Celebrating Our 40th Anniversary

On October 31 we will send out our Annual Appeal. In order to celebrate our 40 years in Chester, and to raise funds that are needed now more than ever, we will introduce the appeal, which has a very special twist.

To inform and prepare all our supporters, we are collecting a series of short video interviews with people whose lives have been impacted by Chester Eastside. In the next months you will meet some of our guests, volunteers, board members, staff, and supporters – and hear how and why they support Chester Eastside.
